Author Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit original research articles, review papers, and case studies to the Journal of Management, Education and Development in Digital Age, which focuses on the intersection of management, education, and development in the digital era. To ensure a smooth submission and review process, authors are required to follow the guidelines outlined below.
1. General Requirements
1.1. Language:
- The full text of the article must be written in Persian (Farsi) using appropriate academic writing style.
- The manuscript should contain an abstract in both Persian and English.
- An extended abstract in English (between 800-1200 words) is required.
1.2. Article Length:
- Manuscripts should not exceed 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
- The extended abstract should be between 800-1200 words, providing a comprehensive summary of the study.
1.3. File Format:
- Submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
- Ensure that the file is free of any form of security or password protection.
1.4. Font and Formatting:
- Persian Text: Font: B Lotus, Size: 14, Line spacing: 1.5
- English Text: Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12, Line spacing: 1.5
- Margins: 2.5 cm (Top, Bottom, Left, Right)
2. Manuscript Structure
All submitted manuscripts should follow the structure outlined below:
2.1 Title Page
- The title of the article (in both Persian and English)
- Author(s) full name(s) in Persian and English
- Affiliation(s) (institution, department, city, country)
- Corresponding author's email address and phone number
- ORCID ID for all authors (if available)
2.2 Abstract
Each article must contain an abstract in both Persian and English, structured as follows:
- Persian Abstract: Up to 250 words
- English Abstract: Up to 250 words
- Both abstracts should include the following components:
- Background and Objectives
- Methods
- Findings
- Conclusion
- Keywords (3-5 keywords)
2.3 Extended Abstract (in English)
An extended abstract (between 800-1200 words) should be included at the end of the manuscript and must contain:
- Introduction: Background, significance, and objectives of the study.
- Methods: Detailed description of research methods, including sample size, data collection procedures, and analysis techniques.
- Findings: Summary of key results and their implications.
- Conclusion and Recommendations: Main takeaways and suggestions for future research.
- Keywords: 3-5 relevant keywords.
2.4 Main Text (in Persian)
The manuscript should be structured as follows:
1. Introduction
- Clearly state the research problem, significance, and objectives.
- Provide a concise literature review to establish the research context.
2. Literature Review
- Discuss relevant theoretical frameworks and previous studies.
3. Methods
- Describe the research design, population and sample, data collection methods, and data analysis techniques.
4. Findings
- Present results using tables, graphs, and descriptive analysis.
5. Discussion
- Interpret the results, compare findings with existing literature, and explain implications.
6. Conclusion
- Summarize key findings and provide recommendations for future studies.
7. Acknowledgments (if applicable)
- Recognize individuals or institutions that supported the research.
8. References
- References should be formatted in APA style (7th edition) both in the text and in the reference list.
3. References and Citation Style

The journal follows the APA (7th edition) citation style.

In-text citations should be in the format (Author, Year).

The reference list should be organized alphabetically by the first author's surname and include:
- Author(s), Year, Title, Journal/Book Name, Volume, Issue, Pages, DOI (if available).

4. Tables, Figures, and Illustrations
- Tables and figures should be numbered sequentially (e.g., Table 1, Table 2, Figure 1, etc.).
- Each table and figure should have a concise title and description.
- Tables should be presented in the text, not as separate images.
- Figures should be in high-resolution (300 dpi) and inserted in the manuscript.
5. Ethical Considerations
- All authors must confirm that their manuscript follows ethical research practices.
- If the study involves human or animal subjects, approval from the relevant ethics committee must be stated.
- Plagiarism is strictly prohibited, and manuscripts will be screened using iThenticate for plagiarism detection.
6. Submission Guidelines
6.1 Manuscript Submission Process
Authors must submit their manuscripts through the journal's online submission system. The following files should be uploaded:
- Manuscript File: Full paper with all components.
- Title Page: A separate document containing title, authors, and affiliations.
- Cover Letter: Briefly explaining the study's significance and confirming no simultaneous submission.
6.2 Peer Review Process
- All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer-review process involving two or three independent reviewers.
- The review process typically takes 6-8 weeks, and authors will be informed of the decision via email.
6.3 Article Processing Charges (APC)
- The journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 1,500,000 Tomans for accepted manuscripts.
- Payment details will be communicated after acceptance.
7. Author Responsibilities
- Ensure the submitted work is original and has not been published elsewhere.
- Obtain necessary permissions for copyrighted material.
- Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
- Carefully revise the manuscript based on reviewer feedback.
8. Manuscript Revision and Acceptance
After receiving reviewer comments, authors are expected to submit a revised version of their manuscript within the specified deadline. The final decision on acceptance rests with the editorial board based on the reviewers’ recommendations and editorial assessment.
9. Post-Acceptance Procedures
Once an article is accepted for publication:
- The manuscript will undergo professional copy-editing and formatting.
- Authors will receive galley proofs for final approval before publication.
- The article will be published online with open access under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license.
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
