Abstract

The aim of the present study is to investigate the impact of entrepreneurship course instruction on entrepreneurial self-efficacy, attitude, mindset, and behavior among students at Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman. Methodologically, this research is descriptive-survey in nature and applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population of this study consists of students at Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman who have completed the entrepreneurship course in recent years. Sampling was conducted using simple random sampling from among the students who had taken the entrepreneurship course. Data collection was carried out using a standardized questionnaire, the reliability of which was estimated at 0.921, and its validity was confirmed by experts and faculty members. In total, 394 responses were collected through an in-person survey and subsequently analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 24 and PLS version 3. The results showed that entrepreneurship course instruction significantly influences students’ entrepreneurial self-efficacy. Additionally, entrepreneurship course instruction has a significant impact on students' entrepreneurial attitude, mindset, and behavior. Consequently, entrepreneurial self-efficacy significantly influences students' entrepreneurial attitude, mindset, and behavior. Finally, entrepreneurial attitude affects entrepreneurial mindset, and entrepreneurial mindset, in turn, influences entrepreneurial behavior among students. Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that entrepreneurship course instruction affects the transformation of students’ self-efficacy, attitude, mindset, and entrepreneurial behavior in today’s competitive environment and leads to an increased tendency toward entrepreneurial activities.
