Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of validating the organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) model in Maskan Bank. The research method is quantitative-descriptive in nature and applied in purpose. The statistical population included employees of Maskan Bank, from which a sample size of 384 individuals was selected using Cochran’s formula through random sampling. The research instrument consisted of a researcher-made questionnaire, the validity of which was evaluated through face validity, and its reliability was calculated using Cronbach’s alpha, which yielded an overall value of 0.93. Data analysis was performed using structural modeling through the SmartPLS software. The results indicated that the path coefficients were as follows: strategies to outcomes (0.82), contextual conditions to strategies (0.33), causal conditions to the core phenomenon (0.81), intervening conditions to strategies (0.26), and the core phenomenon to strategies (0.32). To assess the model, structural equation modeling and the SmartPLS software were used. All significance values were greater than 1.96, and standardized coefficients exceeded 0.40, confirming the model. Given that the model fit index was found to be 0.626, the final model fit was approved. The findings fully supported the model developed through the grounded theory method. It can be concluded that the organizational citizenship behavior model in Maskan Bank is valid, and the results of this study may be of interest to stakeholders involved in customer development and growth in banking institutions.
