The education of civil rights literacy, as one of the fundamental components of social and cultural development, plays a significant role in empowering citizens and cultivating a law-abiding and participatory society. The present study was conducted with the aim of identifying the factors influencing the education of civil rights literacy within the education system. This research employed a descriptive-survey method, and the statistical population included 1,226 teachers and principals of public elementary schools in District Two of Urmia city. A total of 294 participants were selected using a proportional stratified sampling method. The research instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire consisting of 58 items, whose validity was confirmed through confirmatory factor analysis and reliability was verified using Cronbach’s alpha. The results of the study indicated that ideological, aesthetic, scientific, socio-economic, and biological components have a significant impact on enhancing civil rights literacy and improving students’ life skills. The analyses revealed that the ideological component, with a high correlation coefficient, had the greatest effect on students’ legal awareness. These findings can assist in identifying and strengthening the key factors influencing civil rights education and in designing effective educational programs for students and teachers.
