The aim of this study is to design and present a conceptual model for sustainable entrepreneurship within the fifth-generation university, with an emphasis on the structural, cultural, educational, and operational context of Islamic Azad University. The present research is framed within an interpretive paradigm and follows a qualitative approach, employing thematic analysis as the strategy for analyzing the collected data. The statistical population included experienced managers in the fields of technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship; researchers specializing in the subject matter; individuals actively involved in the university’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem; and representatives from industry sectors affiliated with the university. Data were gathered through semi-structured interviews with 13 experts, selected through purposive sampling. For validation, two strategies were used: external audit and triangulation. Based on the findings, five main themes and twenty sub-themes were identified. The main themes include university values and mission, prerequisites, key processes, outcome evaluation, and consequences of sustainable entrepreneurship. The results of the study indicate that the realization of sustainable entrepreneurship in a fifth-generation university requires simultaneous attention to structural, cultural, educational, environmental, and technological dimensions. The proposed model, by identifying key components such as transformational leadership, a green innovation ecosystem, interdisciplinary education, stakeholder participation, and sustainability impact assessment, provides an integrated platform for policymaking and practical implementation within Islamic Azad University. This model can serve as a roadmap for institutionalizing responsible entrepreneurship, empowering the younger generation, and enabling the university to contribute effectively to the achievement of sustainable development goals at both national and regional levels.
